Social Gravel Ride Donation

Squamish Trails Society extends its deep gratitude to all involved with SORCA’s last social ride of the year (Event # 9 on September 11, 2024) and the fundraiser for STS. Thank you to all the volunteers, SORCA, Ian Lowe, and Todd Hellinga from Cascade Environmental for planning and sponsoring the event and the ride loops featuring some of our finest single track, gravel and paved valley trails! Thank you to Matthews West and the House of Lager for also sponsoring and hosting the event on our spectacular oceanfront! Thank you to Luz Tacos for supplying the food for the hungry riders and House of Lager and House of Funk Brewing for the beer! Thanks to the fantastic DJ Praiz for spinning the tunes! Thank you to Kirsten Gauley for all her work on the event planning and organizing the draw prizes! Thank you to all the businesses that contributed prizes for the fundraiser: Spokehaven Bike Tune-Ups, Alpine Adrenaline Mountain Guides, Sunwolf Cabins and Resort, The Watershed Grill, Sea to Sky Sports Physio, Nootka and Sea for their beautiful gift basket, Beach Physio, Coastal Ford, Sunflower Bakery, Suzanne Baker, Alice and Brohm Ice Cream, Luz Tacos, Lordco, Suzie Cromwell Dietetics and thank you to all the participants and the folks who supported the fundraiser by purchasing raffle tickets. With an additional donation from Cascade Environmental, $1000 was raised for STS to continue its mission to care for and enhance our neighbourhood trails. THANKS! (I know that was a lot of exclamation marks, but we were really excited and appreciative of the recognition and raised funds from this event. It was fabulous!)
